He also sits on the advisory board of the car-sharing service Uber. He has also started regional funds in Africa (Savannah Fund), Asia (Golden Gate Ventures) and vertical funds in VR (Presence) and gaming (Game Founders). In his spare time he is currently advising the countries of Colombia & Malaysia on their technology and entrepreneurship policies. While most choose to pick one region, Paul has decided to create 5 different funds with different founding teams across 4 different continents. This has allowed him to become one of the most prolific investors in a relatively short 6 years. Being that he gets involved at the earliest stages of a company’s lifecycle he has become quite the confidant to many founders that have gone onto raise billions of dollars. This he then leverages to convince these founders to help the next generation of founders that he invests into.Paul is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders class of 2016.
