Born 19 April 1969 in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.

Education:

Graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies in 1995. Fluent in Uzbek, Russian and Chinese.

Experience:

1995-1996: Administrative Aide with the Department of CIS Countries, Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

1997-1998: Administrative Aide with the Department of Asian-Pacific Countries, Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

1998-2001: Attaché, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan;

2001-2005: Third Secretary, Second Secretary of the Department on Cooperation with Asian-Pacific Countries, Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

2005-2009: Second Secretary, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan;

2009-2011: Head of the Department of Personnel and Educational Institutions, Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

2011-2013: Counsellor on Political Issues with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the People's Republic of China, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the SCO Secretariat;

SCO Deputy Secretary-General since 2013.

Married with two children.
