Inspector of the Western Development Department, National Development and Reform Commission
Ou xiaoli, male, Han Nationality, was born in November 1962 in Chenzhou, Hunan province. He is now in charge of the Western Development Department of National Development and Reform Commission as an inspector. Ou received his bachelor’s degree from Wuhan University in 1983 and his master’s degree from Renmin University of China in 1986.
He used to be a lecturer at Renmin University of China. He also held many government posts including deputy director of the Ministry of Materials and Equipment, director and then deputy director general of the Ministry of Internal Trade, deputy director general of State Bureau of Internal Trade, safety supervisor for the State Bureau of Safe Production Supervision and Administration, vice team leader of the Talent Development and Regulations Group of the Western Development Office of the State Council and deputy director general of the Western Development Department, National Development and Reform Commission.
Over the past few years, Ou has been in charge of the strategic planning of building the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road and has been working diligently to promote the co-development of the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road.
