Wenchao Shi is the President of the China UnionPay Co. Ltd . Prior to this, Mr. Shi worked for People's Bank of China (PBC) for 22 years, in the role of Macro-economy analysis and financial market research and management. He held a variety of positions in Statistical Investigation office, PBC’s branch in Liuzhou and Wuhan, Financial Market Division at PBC. From 2007 to 2013，he served as the Executive President and Secretary-General in NAFMII (National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors)，which is one of the most important SROs in China bond market. Mr. Shi holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics and is a senior economist.
