Logan Allin is a Partner at Formation Group, based in Palo Alto, focused on sourcing and making investments as well as adding operating value to portfolio companies. Logan was most recently an entrepreneur, as the CFO/CIO and Head of Global Business Development for ONEHOPE, a social impact eCommerce platform. Logan was previously a Managing Director, focusing on the Foundation/ Endowment/ Foundation channel, while serving as a member of the Operating Committee at Atlantic Trust, the Private Wealth Management arm of Invesco (and now CIBC). Previously, Logan was a Senior Vice President in City National Bank’s wealth management division. He spent much of his career in management and technology consulting, in leadership positions at Capgemini, EMC Corporation and PwC LLP. Logan has been an Advisor and investor in some of the leading technology players in Silicon Valley, including SoFi, Point Finance, Addepar, and Zanbato and maintains a deep network with peer VC/Growth Equity firms, as well as incubators, universities, and leading entrepreneurs.

Logan earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in public policy and political science from Duke University and an M.S. in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business where he was a Sloan Fellow. Additionally, Logan held the Certified Investment Management Analyst(SM) designation administered by the Investment Management Consultants Association(SM) and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Logan also held the Certified Private Wealth Advisor(SM) designation, taught in conjunction with The Booth School, University of Chicago. Further, Logan is actively involved in several local and national charitable organizations – including serving as a member of the ONEHOPE Foundation and on the board of America’s Foundation for Chess.
