Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud has served as SABIC Chairman since 2003. His Highness is also the President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. He also holds Chairman of the Board of Directors, Utility of Water and Electricity Company in Jubail and Yanbu; Deputy Chairman, Prince Salman Social Center.

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud was formerly Engineer at the Riyadh Municipality, Director General for Survey and Drawings at Riyadh Municipality, Director General for Operations and Maintenance at the Riyadh Municipality and Undersecretary for Planning and Programs at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs

Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan Al-Saud graduated from King Saud University in 1977 with a degree in Civil Engineering and since then has held various government posts.
