CEO of JD Finance

Chen Shengqiang is the chief executive officer of JD Finance, JD.com’s financial technology business unit. He was appointed in September 2013, and brings over 15 years of experience in the financial sector in China. Prior to becoming chief executive officer of JD Finance, he served as chief financial officer of JD.com from 2012 to 2013, as vice president of finance from 2009 to 2012, and as financial controller from 2007 to 2008.

Shengqiang holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Beijing Technology and Business University and an MBA from Beijing Institute of Technology in Beijing. He has also completed the EMBA program at the China Europe International Business School.
