Mr. Dong Wenbiao is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Minsheng Investment Group (CMIG). Mr. Dong is also a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and a vice chairman of All-China Federation of the Industry and Commerce (ACFIC). Mr. Dong was a member of the Standing Committee of the 10th and 11th CPPCC National Committee, the deputy director of the Economic Committee of the CPPCC and a vice president of China Civilian Chamber of Commerce (CCCC). Mr. Dong joined China Minsheng Bank at its foundation as an executive vice president, and became an executive director of the Bank in 2004. He was the president of the Bank from April 2000 to July 2006, and started to become the Chairman of the Bank from July 2006 to August 2014. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Dong served as the chairman and president of Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. from 1993 to 1995, a director of Bank of Communications from 1992 to 1995, the managing director of Zhengzhou Branch of Bank of Communications from 1991 to 1994, and a deputy dean of Henan Institute of Financial Management from 1988 to 1991. Mr. Dong has over 31 years of work experience in banking management, finance and securities. He obtained a master's degree in economics from Xiamen University in 1993 and an honorary fellowship from Judge Business School of University of Cambridge in 2012. He is a senior economist.
