Professor, Designer of world icon Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge in Hunan province
Prof. Haim Dotan, International architect, educator and poet, graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. with B.Arch. and M.Arch. Degrees. Prof. Haim Dotan is an architectural pioneer in developing design and construction techniques for residential, commercial, industrial, educational and public institutions. In his projects, Architect Dotan creates a new language in the global architectural landscape.
Prof. Dotan designed the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the longest and highest glass bottom bridge in the world, which has become a new Icon in China and a landmark worldwide. He was also the developer and architect of the award winning Israeli Pavilion for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China.
In 2017, the Zhangjiajie Municipal People’s Government conferred the title of “Honorary Citizen of Zhangjiajie” on Prof. Dotan in commendation of his contribution to the economic and social development of Zhangjiajie. Prof. Haim Dotan was the recipient of the prestigious iNNOVEX2017 "Global Leader of Innovation" award.
Currently Prof. Haim Dotan is serving as Professor at SIVA, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts; Master at DeTao Masters Academy in Shanghai. Prof. Haim Dotan is a member of Israel Association of Writers & Poets.
