Dr. Yu Hongjun, Former Vice Minister of IDCPC, Former Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, is now Executive President of the Silk-Road Think Tank Association and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Dr. Yu, an expert in international issues, has decades of experience in research on the international communist and socialist movements. He is currently focusing on modern international relations, party politics and contemporary Chinese diplomacy. He has served as advisor to the International Finance Forum, World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and National Strategy Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Governance. Dr. Yu also works as adjunct professor and PhD supervisor in Renmin University of China, Jilin University, East China Normal University, Jinan University, Guangxi University and China University of Petroleum. He is the chief editor of works including Hot Issues Revealed of the World, Reform and Innovation, etc., and has published over a hundred academic articles.
