Xuyang Zhang joined Baidu in June 2016 as Vice President, in charge of wealth management and personal finance businesses under the Financial Services Group. Before joining Baidu, Mr. Zhang served as the general manager of China Everbright Bank’s Asset Management Department. During his 19 years in China Everbright Bank, he held numerous key roles in treasury, investment banking, wealth management and retail business departments. In 2004, he oversaw the launch of China’s first structured onshore RMB products and China Everbright Banks’ Sunshine wealth management product line. Under his leadership, Everbright Bank’s total size of wealth management asset under management reached 1.3 trillion RMB in 2015. Mr. Zhang received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Economics from Renmin University of China, and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics.
