Mr. Lai Xiaomin, a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress and Chairman of China Huarong Asset Management Co., Ltd. (China Huarong), concurrently holds various social and academic positions including Vice-Chairman of China Enterprise Confederation and Vice-President of China Chamber of International Commerce. He is a seasoned veteran and has engaged in financial regulation and financial business management for 30 years. Before joining China Huarong, he worked in many departments of the People’s Bank of China (“PBC”) and China Banking Regulatory Commission (“CBRC”). In PBC, he successively took the positions as Deputy Director of Planning & Capital Department, Credit Management Department and Banking Supervision Department II. When serving for CBRC, he was appointed as Deputy Director-General of Banking Supervision Department II, Head of the Preparation Team of Beijing Bureau, CBRC, Director-General and Secretary of CPC Party Committee of Beijing Bureau, CBRC, Director-General of the General Office, Director-General of the General Office of CPC Party Committee and Chief Spokesman of CBRC.
