Mr. Zhu worked at CICC from 1998 to 2014. Under his leadership, CICC has registered remarkable achievements in business development and expansion and CICC has been repeatedly honored with awards by globally-renowned publications, such as, Euromoney, Asiamoney,etc. With broad investment banking experiences, Mr. Zhu has been spearheading CICC’s involvement in a series of milestone transactions, including the mobile assets acquisition of China Telecom, the IPOs of Sinopec, Chalco, China Telecom, China Netcom, China Life Insurance, PICC, Air China, China Shenhua Energy, China Construction Bank, Dongfeng Automobile, China Merchants Bank, ICBC, China Citic Bank, China Coal Energy, COSCO, CPIC, CSCEC, ABC, Everbright Bank, etc., as well as a number of restructuring and M&A deals for major industries. Mr. Zhu has been consistently focusing on research and promoting an investment banking service model with a research orientation. He aims to systematically develop a full-service capital market business platform, which includes research, investment banking, sales and trading, investment management, wealth management, etc. In the meantime, he is vigorously driving forth the company’s international development strategy and overseas market outreach, as CICC has set up offices in New York, London and Singapore successively. In addition to branches established in earlier years, CICC opened another 18 branches in mainland China in recent years, thus completing a preliminary network with both domestic and global coverage. Mr. Zhu was honored with a number of awards by renowned publications, including the Award for Asia’s Top 25 Most Powerful Business Leaders (by the Fortune Magazine), the Asian Banker Achievement Award for Investment Banking (by the Asian Banker), and the 2010 Greater China Financial Leadership Gold Prize (the prize was inaugurated in 2010by IIChina.com, the global online Chinese edition of Institutional Investormagazine).
