Lin Guijun is a professor of Economics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). He holds bachelor degree in economics from UIBE, a MA degree in economics from Carleton University, Canada and a PhD degree from UIBE. From 2001-2002 he was a senior Fulbright Scholar in the Department of Economics, Columbia University. His research interests are in international trade policies and international monetary economics. In recent years, he has published in the Review of International Economics, China Economic Review, and a number of domestic journals on China’s trade and foreign exchange polices, new approach to onership-based trade accounting, Factory Asia Phenomenon, TPP and China’s flow of funds analysis. His current research interests include WTO reform, regional economic integration, TPP, industrial upgrading in China and global supply chain and Factory Asia. He is chief editor for Boao Forum for Asia Annual Report Progress of Asian Economic Integration and China-Arab Expo annual report China-Arab Trade and Economic Relations. He has been involved in various government research projects related China-Israel, China-GCC, China-Japan-Korea, China- Mercosur FTA studies and the future of US-China trade relations. Dr. Lin Guijun is the Vice President of UIBE, chairman of UIBE Academic Committee, editor of International Trade Journal, a chairperson for the Degree-Conferring Committee in applied economics under the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, member of China’s social science committee, deputy director of All China International Trade Association and secretary general for the consortium of all China international trade programs, a chief committee member of the Committee of the Professional Program in International Business under the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Education and a member on advisory board of the Ministry of Commerce.
