Deputy Secretary, the Leading Party Group and Deputy Minister of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT), as well as Secretary, the Leading Party Group and President, China Central Television (CCTV)

Nie Chenxi, Han nationality, was born in July 1957 in Lingshou, Hebei Province. He started his career in September 1974 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in February 1993. He obtained his master’s degree in management from University of Science and Technology of China and Ph.D in management from Tianjin University. He also holds the professional title of engineer. Currently, he is Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Group and Deputy Minister of SAPPRFT as well as Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Group and President of CCTV.
