Dmitry Peskov was born in Voronezh in 1975. In 1998 graduated from Voronezh State University majoring in political youth movements. In 1999 received a master’s degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences and University of Manchester. Since 2000, he has worked at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), where he was in charge of MGIMO strategic development, led the Center for Internet Policy, and was a Director of innovations. Established “Metaver”, an organization developing new formats of education that are in compliance with principles of venture economy. Since 2009, he has been Head of Strategic Research of OJSC All-Russian Exhibition Centre. Since 2011 to the present day, Dmitry Peskov has been Director of Young Professionals Division of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. From 2013 to 2014, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of OJSC United Aircraft Corporation, OJSC All-Russian Exhibition Centre, OJSC «Institute for Continuing Training in Machinery and Instrumentation», since 2014 to the present day he has been a member of the Board of Directors of JSC Aeroflot, since 2015 - JSC Russian Venture Company. Dmitry Peskov is a member of the Working Group of the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation in the area of "Social Policy and Human Development"; Expert Council of the Government of the Russian Federation; Union "Agency of Development of Professional Communities and Skilled Workers WorldSkills Russia"; a member of the Interdepartmental Commission for Technological Development of the Council Panel under the President of the Russian Federation for economic modernization and innovation development of Russia; National Council under the President of the Russian Federation for professional expertise (Head of the working group to support the best practices of qualifications development); Supervisory Board of the ITMO National Research University; member of the Board of the Deaf-Blind Support Fund etc.
