TIAN, Wei, China's leading TV anchorwoman for international broadcasting. After hosting a daily discussion program on CCTV for ten years, she has taken on a new challenge recently, moderating an all live daily CCTV global debate program "World Insight". I Over the years, she's also had exclusive interviews with various heads of states and international figures from all walks of life, such as: UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Nobel Peace Laureates, top level Chinese government officials, outstanding domestic and international figures. She has been the senior correspondent covering China's annual congressional season for more than a decade, commenting on the most important national issues and conducting in-depth interviews with movers and shakers in China. She is honored by the United Nations Development Program as "China Special Advisor". She has been working closely with advocacy NGOs on environment, health, gender and other issues.
