Professor WU Xiaoqiu, born in February 1959, is a renowned economist and financial securities expert in China. Professor Wu holds a PhD from Renmin University of China. Now he serves as the Assistant of President, Executive Vice President of Graduate School, Director of Finance and Securities Institute of Renmin University of China (FSI).Also, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of finance at Renmin University of China. Professor Wu is the Vice-President of Academic Degrees Committee of Renmin University of China, the Distinguished Professor of "Chang Jiang Scholars Program"launched by Ministry of Education(2007), the Vice-Chairman of National Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Finance. Moreover, Professor Wu is a member of Disciplinary Review Group of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, a member of Disciplinary Review Group ofNational Social Science Fund Management Committee, a member of the Ninth Issuance Examination Committee of China Securities Regulatory CommissionandtheExecutive Director of China Society of Finance.Professor Wu Xiaoqiu is actively pursuing research and positively sharingprofound ideas and originalthoughts in the fields of macroeconomics, financial reforms and capital markets.
