安德鲁·摩根生于摩洛哥，就读于堪萨斯州立大学，主修亚洲研究和亚洲历史。1972加入邹文怀的嘉禾影业集团并建立了电影制作、发行、院线管理等多个运营部门，1974年又与邹文怀先生一同创立了嘉禾影业集团国际分部泛亚影片公司任职首席执行官及集团副主席，与各国传媒及电影公司建立战略合作伙伴关系。他也是美国电影交易市场和美国电影交易协会的创始人及理事。1984年回到美国与艾尔伯特·鲁迪共同创立了鲁迪摩根集团。其监制的多部作品荣获多项业界最具权威的奖项，包括奥斯卡、金球奖。作为奥斯卡和好莱坞编剧协会会员，多次受邀在北京电影学院、加州大学洛杉矶分校和南加州大学等知名学府担任演讲嘉宾。除了在电影业享誉盛名，摩根同时担任若干跨国贸易公司和私人股票基金顾问和财务咨询师。

Born in Morocco, Andre Morgan attended the University of Kansas majoring in Asian stuides and history, before joining Raymond Chow’s Hong Kong based Golden Harvest Group in 1972. He served in various management capacities building the operating units of Golden Harvest’s film production, distribution and theater management business. In 1974, he and Raymond Chow formed Golden Communications the international division of the Golden Harvest Group. Morgan served as CEO and deputy chairman (1974-1984) forging strategic partnerships with American, European and Asian media companies and film makers. He was a founding member/director of the American Film Market and the AFMA. In 1984 Mr. Morgan returned to America and partnered with Albert S. Ruddy in founding The Ruddy Morgan Organization. His films and television shows have won multiple Oscars, Golden Globes and national awards of excellence around the world. Mr. Morgan is an active member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science, the Writers Guild of America. He is a frequent speaker at Beijing Film Academy, UCLA and USC film schools. When not indulging his passion for film, Morgan acts as an adviser and financial consultant for several multinational trading companies and private equity funds.
