沈南鹏为红杉中国基金的创始及执行合伙人。代表红杉中国，沈南鹏主导投资了新浪网(Nasdaq: SINA)、高德软件(Nasdaq: AMAP)、奇虎360安全卫士(NYSE: QIHU)、乡村基(NYSE: CCSC)和诺亚财富(NYSE: NOAH)、京东商城、阿里巴巴集团等中国高成长企业。沈南鹏是福布斯2012全球最佳投资人榜单中排名最高的华人投资者，被评为福布斯2010、2011及2012年度中国最佳创投人，亚洲风险投资杂志2010年度风险投资家和2004年度亚洲年度企业家。他还被评为CCTV2006年度中国十大经济人物，2010年十大华人经济领袖。沈南鹏是携程旅行网的联合创始人及董事，在创立红杉中国基金前，长期担任公司总裁及首席财务官职位。携程旅行网(Nasdaq: CTRP)是中国最大的旅行服务公司，2003年底在纳斯达克上市。他也是如家连锁酒店(Nasdaq: HMIN)的联合创始人及联席董事长，如家连锁酒店是中国经济型连锁酒店的龙头企业，2006年成功登陆纳斯达克。他还是中国最大的户外媒体企业分众传媒(Nasdaq: FMCN)和中国最大的房地产服务公司易居中国(NYSE: EJ)的投资者及董事。在创建携程旅行网之前, 沈南鹏在纽约和香港的投资银行业工作了八年多。1996年至1999年, 沈南鹏任德意志银行的董事兼中国资本市场主管。在1996年前, 沈南鹏在美国汉华银行、雷曼兄弟证券和花旗银行的投资银行部门工作。沈南鹏现任中国企业家论坛理事、天津股权投资协会会长、北京股权投资协会副会长、上海浙江商会常务副会长和上海青企协会副会长。沈南鹏1992年获得耶鲁大学的硕士学位，1989年获得上海交通大学的学士学位。

Neil Shen is Founding Managing Partner of Sequoia Capital China. On behalf of Sequoia, he led the investments in many high growth Chinese companies including SINA.com (Nasdaq: SINA), Autonavi (Nasdaq: AMAP), Qihoo.com (NYSE: QIHU), Country Style Cooking (NYSE: CCSC), Noah Finance (NYSE: NOAH), 360Buy and Alibaba Group. He was voted as “The 2012 Global Midas List” as the highest ranking investor from China, "No. 1 Venture Capitalist in China” in 2010, 2011 and 2012 by Forbes, "Venture Capital Professional of the Year" by AVCJ in 2010 and "Entrepreneur of the Year" by AVCJ in 2004. He was also elected as “Top Ten Economic Figures of the Year” by CCTV in 2006 and “Top Ten Chinese Economy Leaders of the Year” by 21 century Economic Report in 2010. Mr. Shen is a co-founder and director of Ctrip.com (NASDAQ: CTRP), where he had been its President and CFO before founding Sequoia Capital China. Ctrip is the largest travel service provider in China listed in NASDAQ. He is also the co-founder and co-Chairman of Home Inns (NASDAQ: HMIN), the leading economy hotel chain in China listed in NASDAQ. He is also an investor and a director of China’s largest outdoor media concern Focus Media (NASDAQ: FMCN) as well as China’s largest real estate service company E House (NYSE: EJ). Before founding Ctrip, Mr. Shen had worked for more than eight years in investment banking in New York and Hong Kong. He was a director and Head of Global Markets for China at Deutsche Bank from 1996 to 1999. Prior to 1996, he had worked at Chemical Bank, Lehman Brothers and Citibank in various investment banking areas. Mr. Shen is a director of China Entrepreneur Forum (CEF), Chairman of Tianjin Private Equity Association, Vice Chairman of Beijing Private Equity Association, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce Shanghai and Vice Chairman of Shanghai Young Entrepreneurs Association. Mr. Shen received his Master's degree from the School of Management at Yale University and his Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
