Artem Volynets holds the position of CEO of En+ Group since December 2010. He is responsible for the operational management and implementation of strategies aimed to turn the group into a global leader in the mining, metallurgy, energy and strategy-related industries in Russia and abroad. Mr. Volynets joined En+ Group in June 2010 as the First Deputy CEO. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2010, Mr. Volynets has held the position of Director for Corporate Strategy and Business Development in UC RUSAL (En+ Group is a major; he was responsible for identifying opportunities to support the growth and development of UC RUSAL. Mr. Volynets led the preparation and completion of M&A projects and transactions, including acquisition of a 25% stake in Norilsk Nickel and IPO of UC RUSAL on Hong Kong Stock Exchange. From 2009 to 2010 he served as the Chairman of the International Aluminium Institute - an international organisation for the aluminium industry, representing over 80% of global production. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Volynets was Chief Development Officer and Vice President of Business Development at SUAL International Limited; he led the negotiation on a three-way merger with Rusal and Glencore on Sual's behalf. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Volynets worked as a consultant and corporate finance advisor at Monitor Group in London on more than 25 major international strategy and M&A projects. Mr. Volynets lived in the U.S.A from 1991 to 1997, studying at Georgetown and American Universities and working on the development projects for the United States Agency for International Development and The World Bank.
