项怀诚

1939年出生。山东大学中文系本科毕业，高级经济师。1960年参加工作。历任财政部副部长、党组副书记，国务院扶贫开发领导小组副组长，国家税务总局副局长、党组书记，财政部部长、全国社会保障基金理事会理事长。中共第十五届、十六届中央委员。清华大学、中国人民大学、武汉大学、财政部科研所兼职教授。

Mr. Xiang Huaicheng graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature at Shandong University in 1960 and is a senior economist. He has served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Director of China’s State Administration of Taxation, Minister of Finance and Director-General of the National Social Security Fund. He was a member of 15th and 16th Central Committee of Communist Party of China. He has also served as Adjunct Professor at Tsinghua University, Renmin University, Wuhan University and the China Ministry of Finance Research Institute.
