徐和谊先生，现任北京汽车集团有限公司（简称“北汽集团”）董事长，管理学博士。大学毕业后在中国最大的钢铁公司“首钢集团”工作了15年，从一名设计员到总公司副总经理，徐和谊参与和引领了中国钢铁企业改革调整和产业升级，在中国改革开放的洪流中练就了领导变革本领。随后的5年，他被委以重任担任北京市经济管理部门领导，负责统筹管理北京的工业和产业经济。21世纪初，北京汽车工业陷入困境濒临破产，险将被收购。此时，徐和谊从政府机构又返回到企业的领导岗位，承担起振兴北京汽车工业的重任。至今，徐和谊先生在其进入汽车行业的整整10年期间，创造了汽车制造领域的多个第一：北京现代以惊人的速度发展成为中国最具成长性的汽车企业，与戴姆勒汽车集团建立了覆盖乘用车与商用车的全面战略合作伙伴关系，领导北汽福田成长为全球最大的商用车企业。现在，徐和谊又将目光专注在自主品牌乘用车领域，收购了萨博核心技术知识产权，并成立了“北京汽车股份有限公司”。目前，北汽集团已进入中国汽车领域的前四名，中国500强企业中排名47位。

Xu Heyi, Chairman of Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group) holds a doctorate in management. Xu was an a designer initially and completed his responsibility as Deputy General Manager in ShouGang Corporation, which is the largest steel corporation in China, for 15 years after his graduation. During his stay with ShouGang, he participated in and led the enterprise's revolution and adjustments, as well as industry upgrade within the company. In the sequent five years, he was appointed as a government official in the economic and management department of Beijing, in charge of managing Beijing’s industrial and industry’s economy. In the early part of the 21st century, Beijing’s automotive industry was on the brink of bankruptcy and close to being acquired. At that time, Xu returned as the leader of a company from his rank in the government, to take on responsibilities of shoring up Beijing’s auto industry. Since then, Xu has created a few first in China’s automotive manufacturing, including leading Beijing Hyundai to have become the fastest-growing company, establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership with Daimler in the fields of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, and leading Beiqi Foton to become the biggest commercial vehicle corporation in the world. Currently, Xu is focusing on creating indigenous brands in the passenger car sector. Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. has been established after the BAIC Group purchased Saab’s core intellectual property. BAIC Group is now breaking into the Top 4 positions in China’s auto industry and is listed as No. 47 in the Fortune 500 list within China.
