闫冰竹，北京银行董事长，全国政协委员，全国政协经济委员会副主任，享受国务院特殊津贴专家，中国企业家协会副会长，中国银行业协会副会长，中国金融学会常务理事。金融从业30余年，历任中国人民银行、中国工商银行北京分行分理处主任、营业部总经理、分行总稽核，1996年组建北京银行并担任首任行长，2002年至今担任董事长。曾获“全国五一劳动奖章”、“中国十大金融人物”、“中华十大经济英才”、“中国银行业年度人物”、“中国改革贡献人物”等荣誉。

Mr. YAN Bingzhu, Chairman of Bank of Beijing, member of CPPCC National Committee and Vice Chairman Member of the Committee of Economic Affairs of CPPCC National Committee. Mr. Yan is a specialist enjoying the State Council’s special government allowance. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of Chinese Entrepreneur’s Association, Vice President of China Banking Association, and Standing Director of China Society for Finance and Banking. Mr. YAN has been working in financial industry for more than 30 years. Before joining Bank of Beijing, he served in People’s Bank of China and in ICBC’s Beijing Branch as Section Chief, General Manager of Central Branch and Chief Auditor. In 1996, he participated in the establishment of Bank of Beijing and served as the first President of the Bank. Since 2002 till present, he is the Chairman of the Board of the Bank. Because of his great contribution, Mr. YAN received various honors, such as the “National Labor-Day Metal”, “China’s Top10 Financial Persons”, “China’s Top10 Economy Talents”, “Annual Person of China’s Banking Sector”, and “Contributing Persons for China’s Reform” and etc..
