吴建民先生现任华美银行董事长兼首席执行官。他同时是美国华裔精英组织“百人会”会长，及美泰公司董事。华美银行现以市值位列全美前二十五大银行，并于2010年至2012年连续三年被《福布斯》评选为全美最佳银行排名前十名。凭借杰出的商业成就和社会领导力，吴建民先生曾入选《洛杉矶时报》在洛杉矶最具影响力的百人之一，并荣登《福布斯亚洲》杂志“二十五位知名华人榜”。他经常应邀参加中美两国论坛及国际会议，就国际领导力、中美关系、中美贸易合作、双边投资、银行与金融、经济发展、慈善事业及其他国际热点议题发表演说和参与座谈。2009年至2011年，吴建民先生曾出任洛杉矶市市长贸易顾问委员会共同主席。2005年至2010年，他曾担任旧金山联邦储备银行董事。1991年加入华美银行之前，吴建民先生曾在德勤会计师事务所休斯顿和洛杉矶任职长达十年。吴建民先生曾获得美国德克萨斯州休斯顿大学商学院学士学位，美国Occidental College荣誉法学博士头衔，及香港岭南大学荣誉院士头衔。

Dominic Ng is Chairman and CEO of East West Bank. He also serves as Chairman of the Committee of 100 and on the board of directors of Mattel, Inc. East West Bank is ranked among the 25 largest banks in the U.S. based on market capitalization, and has been listed in the top 10 of the 100 Best Banks in America by Forbes.com for the past three years (2010–2012). With outstanding business achievements and community leadership, Mr. Ng has been named by Forbes as one of the 25 most notable Chinese Americans and one of the 100 most influential people in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Times. Mr. Ng is a frequent speaker on U.S.-China relations, banking and finance, economics, and philanthropy, addressing business, political, academic and civic audiences around the world. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Ng served as co-chair of the Los Angeles Mayor’s Trade Advisory Council. From 2005 to 2010, he served on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Prior to taking the helm of East West Bank in 1991, he spent ten years with Deloitte & Touche in Houston and Los Angeles. Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston, an honorary doctor of law Degree from Occidental College, and an honorary fellowship from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
