秦智涛先生是标准人寿的董事长。 标准人寿是英国最大的长期储蓄及投资公司之一、是一家财富五百强公司。秦先生同时是标准人寿中国主体业务—标准人寿（亚洲）及恒安标准人寿—的董事长。其中恒安标准人寿是与天津泰达合作的合资公司，总部位于天津。 秦智涛先生是英国金融城 （TheCityUK）的董事长，英国金融城是英国金融业的代言人。秦先生还是英国国防部的首席非执行董事，同时兼任德勤非执行董事会成员。秦智涛先生曾为施罗德资深投资银行家，主要负责其在伦敦、纽约及亚太地区的业务。 秦先生长于企业并购重组以及跨国公司融资。在此之前，秦先生就职于英国财政部及国防部，主要负责国有企业转制及私有化。秦智涛先生担任众多公众及私营部门的董事会成员，他也是英国政府的商务大使之一。

Gerry is Chairman of Standard Life, one of the UK’s largest savings and investments businesses, and a Fortune Global 500 company. He also chairs Standard Life Asia and Heng An Standard Life, their important business in China which is a joint venture with TEDA, headquartered in Tianjin. Gerry is the Chairman of TheCityUK, the representative body for the financial and professional services industry in the UK. He is Lead Non-Executive Director of the UK Ministry of Defence and is an Independent Non-Executive Board Member of Deloitte LLP. He was previously a senior investment banker at Schroders and ran businesses in London, New York and Asia Pacific. He specialised in mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising for major companies worldwide. Prior to that, he was an official in HM Treasury, the UK Ministry of Finance, where he was responsible for the reform of state-owned enterprises and their privatisation. Gerry has held a number of senior Board appointments in the public and private sectors and has served as one of the UK’s Business Ambassadors.
