龙安志，律师，政治经济学家和作家。在中国的工作跨越三十年。曾撰写出版了30多部书籍，论述中国的经济改革，亚洲金融和可持续发展（其中包括《中国的世纪》，《朱镕基 - 朱镕基与现代中国的转型》等）。他是联合国解决贫困和不平等专题组的委员。作为香港南龙集团有限公司董事长，他创办了中国第一家绿色社会企业，并成为可持续发展模式的典范。他创立了喜马拉雅共识研究院，一家环境智库专注于研究水资源的安全性和包容性的可持续发展。龙安志先生曾在20世纪90年代中国改革进程的关键时期，应亚洲开发银行邀请参与中国国有企业改革并担任顾问。同期担任越南和老挝中央银行顾问参与了东南亚国家从社会主义计划经济过渡到市场经济的转型过程。在过去的十年间，龙安志先生把大部分时间和精力投入到中国西部地区，南亚和非洲国家。致力于地方财政支持农村社区发展和绿色增长解决方案的探索和实践。他率先阐述了“喜马拉雅共识”的概念和新的经济发展模式。获得联合国贸易发展委员会的广泛认可。其相继提出的“非洲共识” 的理念，得到非洲联盟的赞誉。他经常被邀请参加联合国气候变化论坛并被邀请作为联合国可持续发展国际公约的独立的观察员。

Laurence Brahm is a lawyer, political-economist and author. His work in China spans three decades. He has written over thirty books on China’s economic reforms, Asian finance, and sustainable development (including China’s Century, and Zhu Rongji). He is a member of the United Nations Theme Group on Poverty and Inequality. As Chairman and CEO of Hong Kong Naga Group Limited, he has pioneered one of China’s first green social enterprises, serving as a model for sustainable development. He is also founder of Himalayan Consensus Institute, an environmental think tank concerned with water security and inclusive sustainability. During China’s critical reform process in the 1990s Brahm served as an advisor on China’s state owned enterprise reforms. He was also central bank advisor to Vietnam and Laos during their transition from socialism to market economics. He has spent the past decade working on solutions for local finance to support rural community development and green growth in western China, South Asia and Africa. He first articulated the concepts of Himalayan Consensus and African Consensus as fresh economic paradigms, recognized by both UNCTAD and the African Union respectively. He is often invited as an independent observer to international conventions on climate change and sustainable development, and as a mediator or interlocutor for conflict resolution.
