张玉玺，男，汉族，1949年10月10出生，北京市丰台区人，中共党员，本科学历，北京市人大代表，现任北京新发地农产品批发市场董事长，兼任中国农产品市场协会执行会长。他常说“三农”的核心是农民增收，将农民辛辛苦苦种出来的农产品在市场上换回“真金白银”装进自个儿兜里，农民才算增收。为了这份沉沉甸甸的责任，历经24年栉风沐雨，他把一个当初只有15亩地、15名员工的小型农贸市场，建设成为交易量、交易额连续十一年双居全国第一、占地1820亩的特大型农副产品批发市场，承担了首都80%以上农产品供应。2012年，市场各类农副产品交易量1300万吨，交易额440亿元人民币，直接或间接带动近百万农民就业。新发地市场已成为首都农产品供应的重要基地，不仅较好的保证了首都平时农产品的安全稳定供应，而且经受住了非典、奥运、冰雪灾害、国庆60周年等特殊时期的保障供给考验，为服务首都百姓、繁荣首都经济、维护首都稳定、促进三农增收作出了重要贡献。他曾获得全国劳动模范、2008年度中国三农人物等诸多荣誉称号，先后受到习近平、胡锦涛等党和国家领导人的亲切接见。

Zhang Yuxi was born in Fengtai District, Beijing in Oct.10,1949. He got a Bachelor Degree and is a Chinese communist party member and representative of Beijing People's Congress. Now is the chairman of Beijing Xinfadi agricultural products wholesale market, and he also served as the executive president of the Association of Chinese agricultural market.He always said that the core of "San Nong" was farmer's income. Farmers worked hard to grow agricultural products and sold out in the market and then put money in their pockets, which means income increasing. For this heavy responsibility, he worked for 24 years, despite wind and rain, to make Xinfadi market the largest in China for 11 years continuously. As you may know, 24 years before, Xinfadi only covers areas of 15 Mu and only have 15 employees. Now covers 1820 Mu and 80 percent of agricultural products in Beijing are supplied by Xinfadi. In 2012 total trading volume is 13 million tons, and total turnover is 44 billion yuan. Xinfadi solved jobs of nearly a million farmers directly or indirectly. Xinfadi market now becomes an important base for the supply of agricultural products in Beijing. Not only guarantee the safe and stable supply of agricultural products for Beijing usually, but also withstood supply test in some special period like SARS, the Olympic Games, the snow disaster, the 60th anniversary etc. Xinfadi has made important contributions to the capital people, economy prosperity of Beijing, maintaining stability, raise the overcome of farmers and also employment of farmers.He has won many honorary titles like the National Model Worker, 2008 China “San Nong” character, and has been cordially met with Xi Jinping, Hu Jintao and other leaders.
