Stephen Engle is an accomplished broadcast reporter with more than 22 years of experience communicating business, technology and general news to audiences across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently based in Beijing as an on-air reporter for BLOOMBERG TELEVISION, Mr. Engle conveys breaking news on the business and financial markets of greater China and the rest of Asia. Mr. Engle's distinguished broadcasting career as anchor, reporter and producer has seen him based in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo. Before joining BLOOMBERG TELEVISION he had worked with CNBC, CNN and NHK. Mr. Engle brings essential and dynamic insight to business persons, finance professionals, investors and other viewers on the key markets and industries throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Highlights in Mr. Engle's career include covering the visits to Asia by U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. He also has interviewed Nobel Peace Laureates Aung San Suu Kyi and Kim Dae-Jung, as well as a host of major political leaders such as the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Taiwan's Ma Ying-jeou and Chen Shui-bian, the U.K.'s Tony Blair and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
