Xavier Marin是法国资本投资基金会（Fontations Capital）的董事会主席兼联合创始人；该公司是一家欧洲私募股权基金公司，主要致力于法国中型公司大多数产权投资项目。他是Courtepaille餐厅、Buffet集团和Sepur公司监事会主席，也是Alkern集团的监事会成员。在2002年至2007年期间，Xavier Marin曾担任领先上市欧洲投资公司Eurazeo执行委员会成员和联席负责人。在供职于Eurazeo公司期间，Xavier也曾担任Europcar集团董事会主席、B&B酒店监事会主席以及Fraikin公司、Rexel公司和APCOA公司的监事会成员。在加入Eurazeo公司之前，Xavier Marin曾就职于所罗门兄弟投资公司（美国纽约）、瑞士信贷第一波士顿银行（英国伦敦）和巴林银行（法国巴黎），在兼并与收购咨询方面积累了20年职业经历。他在企业融资领域的职业生涯始于美国大通曼哈顿银行。Xavier Marin拥有哈佛大学商学院工商管理学硕士学位；毕业于巴黎高等商业学院（ESCP），并获得了巴黎第二大学法学学士学位。他曾是法国海军军官。

Xavier Marin is chairman and co-founder of Fondations Capital, a European private equity fund focused on majority equity investments in French mid-size companies. He is chairman of Courtepaille, Buffet Group and Sepur supervisory boards and a member of the supervisory board of Alkern. From 2002 to 2007, Xavier Marin was a member of the executive board and co-head of investments of Eurazeo, a leading listed European investment company. While at Eurazeo, Xavier was chairman of Europcar Group, chairman of the supervisory board of B&B Hotels, a member of the supervisory boards of Fraikin, Rexel and APCOA. Before joining Eurazeo, Xavier Marin had a 20 year career in mergers & acquisitions advisory at Salomon Brothers, Credit Suisse First Boston and Barings respectively in New York, London and Paris. He began his career in corporate finance at the Chase Manhattan Bank. Xavier Marin holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School, he is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and has a law degree from the University of Paris II. He is a former French Navy officer.
