阿尔及利亚民主人民共和国民族院议长

阿布的卡德·本萨拉，阿尔及利亚民族院议长, 1941年11月24日出生于阿尔及利亚，拥有法学学位。他曾参加过阿尔及利亚民族解放革命，为阿尔及利亚的独立做出贡献。

历任:

1967年: 阿尔及利亚人民日报记者。

1968年-1970年：阿尔及利亚《El Moudjahid》周报和阿尔及利亚 《El Djoumhouria》日报记者及中东办公室主任。

1970年-1974年：任阿尔及利亚驻贝鲁特（黎巴嫩）信息和文化中心主任，同时，他出版发行《El Djazair，Ahdath oua Wathaek》杂志。

1974年-1977年： 阿尔及利亚阿拉伯语日报《Echaab》社长。

1977年-1987年： 三次当选国会议员，其中十年担任外交事务委员会主席。

1989年：阿尔及利亚驻沙特阿拉伯王国大使及驻伊斯兰会议组织常驻代表。

1993年：外交部新闻司司长及发言人。

1994年05月：当选为全国过渡委员会主席。

1997年02月：创建了全国民主联盟，当选为主席。

1997年06月：当选为阿尔及利亚国民议会议长。

2000年02月： 被选阿拉伯议会联盟主席。

2002年07月：在阿尔及利亚民族院全体会议上一致通过，被选为议长。

2004年01月：在阿尔及利亚民族院全体会议上再次当选议长。

2004年11月： 在非洲议会联盟全体会议上当选主席。

2007年01月：连任阿尔及利亚民族院议长。

2010年01月：在阿尔及利亚民族院全体会议上再次当选议长 。

2013年01月：在阿尔及利亚民族院全体会议上再次当选议长 。

为了表彰他过去的努力，他被授予了民族解放军和国家功绩勋章，其他兄弟国家的总统也分别向他颁发了多个荣誉奖项。

 

President, the Council of the Nation

The People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria

HEM. Abdelkader BENSALAH, President of the Council of the Nation of Algeria was born on 24th November 1941 in Algeria. He holds a degree in Legal Sciences. After his participation in the glorious revolution for the recovery of the Independence of Algeria, he has held several senior positions:

1967: Journalist in the national Arabic daily “Echaab”

1968-1970: Correspondent and Middle East Office Chief of two Algerian newspapers, The

1970-1974: Director of the Algerian Center of Information and Culture in Beirut (Lebanon). Parallely he published the magazine “El Djazair, Ahdath oua Wathaek”

1974-1977: Director General of the Arabic daily “Echaab”

1977-1987: He was an MP for three terms (15 years), among which 10 years as President of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

1989: Ambassador in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative in the Organization of Islamic Conference.

1993: Director of Information and Spokesperson in the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

May 1994: Elected President of the National Transition Council.

February 1997: He creates the Party of National Democratic Rally (RND) in which he was elected President.

June 1997: Elected President of the National People’s Assembly

February 2000: Elected President of the Arab Parliamentary Union.

July 2002: Unanimously elected in plenary session President of The Council of the Nation

January 2004: Re-elected in plenary session President of The Council of the Nation.

November 2004: Elected in plenary session President of The African Parliamentary Union.

January 2007: Re-elected President of the Council of the Nation.

January 2010: Re-elected in plenary session President of the Council of the Nation.

January 2013: Re-elected in plenary session President of The Council of the Nation.

In recognition of his past, he was awarded the National Liberation Army and the National Order of Merit Medals. Several other awards in the National Order of Merit were awarded to him by Presidents of friendly States in accordance with their respective constitutional system.
