戴相龙，男，汉族，1944年11月生，江苏省仪征市人。中央财政金融学院会计系毕业，研究员、博士生导师。1968年－1978年，在云南省圭山煤矿工作；1979年－1985年8月，先后任中国农业银行江苏省分行副处长、江苏省丰县副县长、中国农业银行江苏省分行副行长；1985年8月－1990年，任中国农业银行副行长。1990年－1993年7月，任交通银行总经理、副董事长兼中国太平洋保险公司董事长。1993年7月－1995年5月，任中国人民银行副行长。1995年6月－2002年12月，任中国人民银行（中央银行）行长；1997年7月任中国人民银行货币政策委员会第一任主席。2002年12月－2007年12月，任天津市市长。2008年1月，任全国社会保障基金理事会理事长。2013年3月，任全国社会保障基金理事会党组书记。

Secretary of the Party Committee, National Council for Social Security Fund, China

Mr. Dai Xianglong is the Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Council for Social Security Fund, China, since March 2013. From 2008 to 2013, he was Chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund, China. From 2002 to 2007, he served as Mayor of Tianjin. From 1995 to 2002, he worked as Governor of the People's Bank of China and Deputy Governor from 1993 to 1995. During that period of time, he served as Chairman of the First Session of Monetary Policy Committee of the People's Bank of China in 1997. Before joining the central bank, he was Vice Chairman and President of the Bank of Communications as well as Chairman of China Pacific Insurance Co., Ltd. from 1990 to 1993, Vice President of Agricultural Bank of China from 1985 to 1990. From 1979 to 1985, he was Deputy Director of Jiangsu Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, Deputy Director of Feng County, Jiangsu Province and then Vice President of Jiangsu Branch of Agricultural Bank of China. Prior to that, he was a worker in Guishan Coal Mine, Yunnan Province. Mr. Dai graduated from the Dept. of Accountancy, Central University of Finance and Economics, China.
