徐平，安徽巢湖市人，1957年1月出生，汉族，1982年2月在东风汽车公司参加工作，1987年10月加入中国共产党，工学学士，研究员级高级工程师，现任东风汽车公司董事长、党委书记，东风汽车集团股份有限公司董事长、党委书记。中共湖北省第八届委员会委员，中国共产党第十七次、第十八次全国代表大会代表，第十一届、第十二届全国人大代表。

Xu Ping was born in Cao Hu City, Anhui Province in January, 1957. Mr. Xu joined Dongfeng Motor Corporation in February, 1982 and joined Chinese Communist Party in October, 1987. Mr. Xu is a senior post-graduate engineer with a Bachelor’s degree. Mr. Xu Ping is currently the Chairman of the Board of Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) and Secretary of DFM Party Committee. He also works as the Chairman of the Board of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd (DFG) and Secretary of DFG Party Committee. Mr. Xu Ping had served as a member of the 8th Hubei Provincial CPC Central Committee and was the Party representative to the 17th and 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Mr.Xu Ping was also deputy to the 11th and 12th National People’s Congress.
