1949年出生，经济学研究生。历任中国驻世界银行副执行董事、财政部世界银行司司长、部长助理、副部长，中国人民银行货币政策委员会委员，亚洲开发银行副行长。现任中投公司监事长，并兼任“主权财富基金国际论坛”主席。他还担任中国外交政策咨询委员会委员、外交学会理事、海协会理事。

Mr. Jin Liqun is the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of CIC. Prior to this appointment he served as the Vice President (Operations 1) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Before joining the ADB in August 2003, he served as Deputy Minister of Finance, Director General of the World Bank Department at the Ministry of Finance, and Executive Deputy Director of China to the World Bank Group. He was a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the People’s Bank of China. Currently he also serves as Chair of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Fund. Mr. Jin was born in 1949 and holds a masters degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and was a Hubert Humphrey Fellow in the Economics Graduate Program at Boston University. He also served as the Member of Advisory Committee on foreign policy of China, Director of Institute of Foreign Affairs and Director of (Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits) ARATS.
