李若谷现任中国进出口银行董事长、行长，人民银行金融研究所博士后流动站学术委员会委员。曾任中国人民银行副行长，中国驻亚洲开发银行执行董事，国际货币基金组织、非洲开发银行、加勒比开发银行和东南非开发银行等机构的中国副理事。著有《全球金融危机与中国经济金融发展》、《制度适宜与经济发展——基于中国实践的发展经济学》、《国际货币体系改革与人民币国际化》、《走向世界的中国金融》等；主编《经济全球化与中国金融改革》、《国际经济一体化与金融监管》等多部专著。李若谷先生1981年获北京大学法学硕士学位，1983年获美国普林斯顿大学公共管理学硕士学位。

Mr. Li Ruogu is Chairman and President of The Export-Import Bank of China, and Member of the Academic Committee of the Post-doctoral Station of the Research Department of the People’s Bank of China (PBC). He has served as Deputy Governor of PBC, Executive Director for China at the Asian Development Bank, and Alternate Governor for China of the International Monetary Fund, African Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank and Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank. He has authored The Global Financial Crisis and the Development of China’s Financial Industry and Economy, Institutional Suitability and Economic Development—Development Economics Based on Practices in China, Reform of International Monetary System and Internationalization of RMB, China’s Financial Development in Face of Globalization, and so on. He was Editor-in-Chief of Economic Globalization and China’s Financial Reform, International Economic Integration and Financial Regulation, and so on. Mr. Li Ruogu received his Master of Laws Degree at Peking University in 1981, and Master of Public Administration Degree at Princeton University in 1983.
