林左鸣，男，1957年出生，福建漳州人，南京航空航天大学工学学士、长江商学院EMBA硕士、北京航空航天大学管理学博士。现任中国航空工业集团公司董事长、党组书记，中共第十八大中央委员。曾先后在中国西南和东北两个大型国有企业任总经理、董事长；历任中国航空工业第一集团公司副总经理、总经理；中国航空工业集团公司总经理。兼任北京航空航天大学、厦门大学等高校博士生导师。在广义虚拟经济方面，出版《广义虚拟经济》等著作多部。2001年以来先后获“全国五一劳动奖章”、“全国国防科技工业系统劳动模范”、“国防科技工业有突出贡献的中青年专家”、 “国家级企业管理创新成果一等奖”、“中国首批高级职业经理人”等称号，并享受政府特殊津贴。2010年获国家科技进步特等奖。

Born in 1957 in Fujian Province of China, Mr. Lin Zuoming earned his Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, EMBA Degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, and Doctorate in management from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is currently Chairman of the Board and General Secretary of the Party Committee of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and the 18th CPC Central Committee member. After holding positions in succession as President and Chairman in two large-sized state-owned enterprises in southwest and northeast of China, Mr. Lin was appointed Vice President, then President of China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I)，and then President of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). Mr. Lin also acts as the Chairman of the Society of Management Science of China. Mr. Lin is a Ph.D. supervisor at universities, such as: Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Xiamen University, etc.. He has published many works in the field of economics, including: Generalized Virtual Economics. Since 2001, Mr. Lin has been awarded successively the “National May 1st Labor Medal”, titles of “Model Worker in China’s National Defense Scientific and Technological Industry”, “National Young & Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contribution”, “China’s First Cohort of Senior Professional Manager” and the “First Prize for National Enterprise Management Innovative Achievements”. He enjoys the Special State Allowance. In 2010, he was awarded the top grade of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology.
