凤凰卫视董事局主席、行政总裁刘长乐，1951年出生于上海，毕业于中国传媒大学。1996年，在香港与默多克的新闻集团合作创办了凤凰卫视，2000年在香港上市。凤凰卫视开播以来，致力于为全球华人提供高品质的华语电视节目，已发展成为拥有6个电视频道、互联网、户外电子大萤幕、杂志、出版、广播和教育等多元化的媒体集团，传媒业务覆盖全球逾180多个国家及地区，成为最有影响的国际华语传媒。刘长乐先生担任多间内地大学客座教授及中国传媒大学博导，获香港特别行政区政府委任为太平绅士。自2005年起至今，连续担任国际艾美奖世界电视节主席职务；2008年11月，荣获国际电视艺术与科学学院授予的“国际艾美理事会奖”；2009年获任“世界华文媒体合作联盟”名誉主席；2010年出任中国佛教协会第八届理事会特约顾问。他是中国人民政治协商会议第10届及第11届全国委员会委员，担任第11届政协全国委员会教科文卫体委员会副主任，并获任第12届全国政协常委。

Mr. Liu Changle is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited. He was born in Shanghai in 1951 and studied at Communication University of China in the early 1980s. In 1996, Mr. Liu and Mr. Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation co-founded Phoenix Satellite Television Company Limited in Hong Kong. In 2000, Phoenix TV was listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange with Mr. Liu being the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO. Since its launch, Phoenix TV is committed to providing quality Chinese television program to Chinese all over the world. Phoenix now operates six TV channels and has developed multiple business fronts, including new media, outdoor LED, magazine, publishing, radio broadcasting and education. Its new media sector (IFENG.COM) has been listed in NYSE since 2011. Accessing 150 countries in the world, Phoenix TV has become the most influential international Chinese-language media. Mr. Liu is a visiting professor at a number of mainland universities, and is also doctoral supervisor in Communication University of China. Since 2005, Mr. Liu has been the Chairman of the iEMMYs Festival run by the International Academy of Television Arts& Sciences. In November 2008, Mr. Liu received the International Emmy· Directorate Award. Mr. Liu was appointed honorary chairman of “World Chinese-language Media Co-operation Alliance” in 2009 and special consultant to the 8th Council of the Buddhist Association of China in 2010. Mr. Liu has also been appointed a Justice of the Peace by the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He is member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and serves as Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports, of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
