卢琛毕业于北京广播学院播音专业，其后赴英国进修，获取莱斯特大学全球化与传媒专业硕士学位。她历任记者、编辑、电台主持和首席新闻主播，集采、编、播能力于一身。又曾于2000年只身前赴智利，与智利国家电视台合作，每周制作有关智利政治、经济、文化的系列报导，并于总统府专访当时的总统拉戈斯。专业训练和丰富的传媒经验使卢琛对新闻有极敏锐的触角，主持直播节目时游刃有余。她曾主持多个大型直播节目，如萨达姆庭审、美国大选、南亚海啸和澳门回归5周年等。其播报如行云流水，风格自然、稳健、大气，具有说服力。2001年，她曾获美国国务院邀请，以「国际访问者项目」访美，并于2005年获评为中国国家一级播音员。她目前主持中文台多个份量级节目《环球人物周刊》、《今日看世界》及《凤凰全球联机》。

A graduate of Beijing Broadcasting Institute, Lu further studied in the UK and received a Master of Arts in Globalization and Media Communications. She has been a reporter, editor, broadcaster and chief news anchor over the years. In 2000, she went to Chile to produce a weekly program on Chilean politics, economy and culture single-handedly in conjunction with Chile national TV station. She also exclusively interviewed the Chilean president. Steady, confident and composed, Lu has a wealth of media experience and superb news sense, that is why she has been hosting various big live programs such as the hearing of Saddam Hussein, the launch of Shenzhou VI, US presidential election, Tsunami in Southern Asia and the fifth anniversary of the Macau handover etc.. In 2001, she was invited by the State Department of USA under the “International Visitor Program” to tour the country. In 2005, she is awarded the “First-class State Announcer in China”. In 2006, she is named “World Famous People” by The International Biographical Centre of Cambridge, England. In 2007, she joined Phoenix to start a new leaf of life, she currently hosts prime-time：“Eye on World”, “From Phoenix to the World” and “Global Characters” that gave viewers one more reason to hook onto Phoenix.
