Mr. Chairman,Excellencies,Ladies and Gentlemen,
Mr. Chairman,I thank you for the kind words you just have spoken about me and my country,I would also like to thank you and through you the Boao Forum for Asia for the warm hospitality and meticulous arrangements made for the Conference,I appreciate the understanding you have shown for my inability to be at the Opening Ceremony,much as I would have liked to.
Mr. Chairman,ever since its inception,Nepal has always attached great importance to this Forum,and has been actively participating in its Annual Conferences,Nepal has always believed that guided by Asian concerns and interests,the Forum plays a crucial role in this globalizing world. This Forum provides an excellent opportunity for national leaders and captains of industry to sit down and work together in charting a road map for regional cooperation,and this years themeAsia reaching for Win-Win,New Role of Asia is only too apt. I am confident that such cooperation will help achieve for our people a life of dignity,free from hunger,disease and poverty.
I wish the Forum every success in its future endeavors. Thank you. |
