The 2004 Boao Forum for Asia(BFA) Annual Conference 2004 closes at Boao in south China's Hainan province on Aril 25.

Fidel Ramos, chairman of the BFA and former Philippine president, says the conference was very successful and all Asian nations strive to seek development for win-win results.

Ramos says with the emergence of a strong Asia, aided especially by China's rise, the continent in the new century will not only reach a new high, but also provide reliable support for world stability and growth.

He adds that the forum has offered a platform for government officials and entrepreneurs to exchange views and issues of common concern.

Secretary-General of the BFA, Long Yongtu, says there's still a long way to go before organizers make the forum more influential.
